Now Accepting Applications for 2019 Nonprofit Pro Bono Client


At KYC, we’re passionate about a lot of things: storytelling, creating and spending time with those who matter most to us. We love to help clients share their stories and meet their goals. Every organization has something important to say, and we want to help you say it.

It’s an exciting time at KYC. We’ve added new team members and streamlined our own communication strategies, but one thing remains the same: our commitment to our community.

That’s why it’s time to give back. We have begun our search once again for a new pro bono client for 2019 – and we’re pretty pumped! There are a lot of amazing nonprofits out there, but sometimes implementing and executing a communications strategy can be overwhelming, challenging or confusing.

That’s where we can help. In the past we’ve worked with some pretty cool nonprofits and helped them share their causes with others. Our past pro bono clients include: Boston Harbor Now, Friends of Fort Gorges, Fathers’ Uplift, First Teacher and InnerCity Weightlifting.

Are you a nonprofit that could use some help with a marketing or communications project? Submit your application to us by email with the following information:

  1. The need to know details about your nonprofit

  2. Your marketing goals as an organization

  3. The project you’d like us to help you with

The deadline for application submission is November 30, 2018. Once our team has reviewed the applications and voted, we’ll notify the chosen pro bono client by December 10, 2018.

Here’s what we look for in submissions:

  • A specific project that you would like our help with. The project can take any shape or form, from email communications, to a marketing program for sustained fundraising, to a custom campaign to reach a very specific audience.

  • Give us the background, details and fun facts about your organization. Who started it? What’s your mission? Who benefits from the services you offer?

  • Most importantly, have fun with it and show us your personality so you’ll stand out!
