Identity Automation, an identity and access management provider based in Houston, TX, was looking for ways to both feed its pipeline and establish the company as more of a thought leader in the security space. The company was relatively new as a solution provider having recently converted from a consultancy, so it didn’t hold the industry awareness of some of its competitors.
The company turned to Kevin York Communications for a solution that could drive leads and thought leadership awareness.
Since Identity Automation had very unique perspectives on the industry to share, all of which were backed up by third party data, we decided to deploy a strategy focused on utilizing eBook downloads to capture leads. Identity and access management topics also lent themselves to some interesting, creative book approaches.
Kevin York Communications wrote four eBooks, designed the visual appearance of the books and landing pages, and handled all promotion of the books, which included infographics, blog posts, media pitches, emails, and social media posts.
The four eBooks helped with Identity Automation’s goals of increasing both leads and awareness.
Each eBook resulted in hundreds of new leads after being released.
Additionally, the eBooks were utilized strategically to increase mindshare with industry analysts. They also received significant pickup online as a result of KYC’s promotion of the eBooks.
